When a work related injury or illness occurs, employers want to be able to get their workers cared for quickly, effectively and in a way that supports the worker’s return to work safely. At Southwell Medical Clinic, we can provide employers and workers with experienced care focused on the workers recovery and safe return to work.

WHAT SOUTHWELL MEDICAL CENTRE OFFERS

Fast access to a physician with over 20 years combined OIS experience and WCB- Alberta training (target wait time of 30 minutes or less). Our clinic, including our physicians, focuses on relationships and communication with employers.
Extensive Assessment
Focus on early, safe, sustainable return to work through utilization of modified duties when possible
Smooth process for worker’s compensation claims
Expedited diagnostic and treatment services
Same day completion and submission of reports
Clinic tours so employers can know what to expect and meet our staff.
Assistance in implementing OIS into your company procedures in order for you to maximize the OIS benefits – whether you are new to OIS or have been signed up for many years, we can work with you

Monday to Friday	9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Saturday	10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

What is OIS?

OIS stands for Occupational Injury Services, which is a WCB Alberta program contracted to select clinics across the province to provide specialized care for injured workers.

Who can use OIS?

Any employer with workers in Alberta may access OIS provided that they sign up for the program through WCB Alberta. If you are not already signed up and would like to, you may do so here:
